Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She was widely credited with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman has published numerous papers as well as received numerous grants. She has also has been awarded many international and national awards. She has advised numerous administrations and agencies across the world about policies and studies pertaining to the treatment of children victims in the justice system. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She holds memberships in many professional groups, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
